Aspire Health Alliance offers comprehensive emergency services for children, teens and adults

Aspire Health Alliance’s Adult and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (formerly called Emergency Services Program) provide in-home, community, and hospital ER-based services to children, teens, and adults who are at risk of harming themselves or others.

Community Crisis Stabilization

Housed within Aspire Health Alliance’s Crisis Services in Quincy, Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) is available to adults in need of immediate, short-term psychiatric intervention. The open, eight-bed unit provides a stabilizing alternative to hospitalization and is staffed by a master’s level clinician, clinical nurse specialist, RNs, LPNs, mental health counselors, and peer support specialists. During their three – to five-day stay, CCS clients meet daily with clinicians and have access to a variety of therapeutic programs and activities designed to facilitate recovery in a safe, supportive environment.

Intensive Community Support

Also within Aspire Health’s Crisis Services, Intensive Community Support (ICS) is available to adults referred by the Department of Mental Health who have lost their housing, are experiencing a need for increased support, or are transitioning back into the community from a hospital setting. Staffed by a mental health worker, the open, five-bed residential unit provides clients with stability as they connect with the resources and services needed to achieve independent living. During their stay, clients participate in structured therapeutic activities between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., while caseworkers provide support with medication management, appointment follow-up, transportation, and other daily tasks necessary to a successful transition. An ICS mobile team is also available for clients in need of short-term support services within the communities where they live.
