Dear Aspire Health Alliance Client,
Our priority is the well-being of our clients, their families and our staff. We know this is a very stressful time for us all and we are here to support you to the best of our ability. Aspire Health Alliance will remain open for services, delivered in the most clinically appropriate manner for you.
We will be reaching out to you to offer the option of meeting with your therapist via telehealth (telephone or video if appropriate) for your next appointments, as we practice social distancing during this emergency. If you and your therapist do decide to meet in person, we are asking all our clients to reschedule your appointment if you develop any of the risk factors for the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus), listed below. Please note that this guidance on risk factors changes frequently so we may ask you some questions when you arrive at the office.
COVID-19 Risk Factors (as of March 17, 2020)
• Cold or flu-like symptoms (Fever, cough, and/or difficulty breathing)
• Exposure to someone with Coronavirus Disease – 2019 (COVID-19)
• Recent International Travel (i.e. within the past 14 days) from COVID-19 affected countries. (United Kingdom, Europe, Iran, Korea and China)
We all have to work together to diminish the spread of this virus however we can. Your assistance here will help us keep our staff healthy and our services open, so that when you feel better, we will be here to care for you.
Aspire Health Alliance is taking every precaution to ensure that we have effective infection control policies and procedures in place to reduce the spread of the virus. You will notice that our waiting areas have been cleared of toys, books, magazines and any other shared items to reduce the risk of spreading infection. We have hand sanitizer available and urge you to use it before your appointment and leaving your appointment for your own benefit.
