Job Description

The Peer to Peer Specialist works to provide information, support, assistance, and advocacy for recipients, and/or caregivers/family members of consumers of supportive mental health services through the Peer to Peer Program. Will also provide feedback and perspective to the mental health system relative to the impact and effectiveness of the services provided, and to assist with other work related to client care, as required.

Required Skills

• Peer Specialist Certification required within 6 months of date of hire. (Agency will assist with process)
• Requires valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and access to personal vehicle for consumer transportation

Required Experience

• Lived experience with severe and persistent mental illness required
