Exciting NEW opportunity exists for a Client Navigator to become a key member of our Same Day Access program!  We are looking for a compassionate and professional team member to guide clients through the Same Day Access behavioral healthcare appointment, process, and continued follow-up. 

• Manage the client’s visit to Aspire from the intake process, through the visit with the clinician and through the care process
• Respecting the client's choice, explain and collect informed consent for treatment and participating in the grant funded activities, and ensure that clients are fully informed of their legal rights
• Collect and accurately document intake assessments prior to the clinician visit
• Manage several clients each day at different points in their initial visits and treatment plans
• Support client’s non-clinical needs with deep understanding of both Aspire and community resources to remove barriers to the client’s recovery, including addressing social determinants of health
• Participation in Daily Care Huddle to help determine best course of action for each client
• Takes vital signs and weight of client and record in electronic health record

The mission of the Peer-to-Peer Program is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can connect with others whose shared experiences help them work through various stages of crisis.  Clients can join in peer-led activities, including guided meditation, arts and crafts, and “recovery is real” group discussions.  If they prefer, they can simply relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, or watch television in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere surrounded by empathetic peers whose similar situations can be invaluable during recovery. Offering respect, understanding, and ongoing encouragement, our peers are a guiding force to renew hope and strengthen clients’ determination to stay on track with their own journeys of recovery.

Aspire Health Alliance’s peer support specialists are qualified by lived experience and trained through the Massachusetts Certified Peer Specialist Program.  Each is dedicated to connecting with clients, urging open, honest dialogue—and showing by example that recovery is possible.  Role models for the group, they also advocate for their peers, promote healing through relationship building, and provide guidance on other mental health resources if needed.

Aspire Health Alliance’s Peer-to-Peer Program provides clients with assistance during times when access to mental health services is unavailable. Located at 460 Quincy Avenue in Quincy, Peer-to-Peer is open Thursday and Friday from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and on holidays between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Job Description

The Peer Specialist will help engage and support clients enrolled in the Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) program. This position will assist clients with a dual diagnosis of Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) in their recovery. This position will be responsible for facilitating the National Outcome Measures (NOMS) reassessments in accordance with federal requirements and timelines as well as participate in team meetings to review client care and relay any concerns the clients may have expressed. The Peer Specialist will report directly to the CCBHC Project Manager and will work closely with the Program Director, Client Navigator, and Clinicians to ensure clients are fully engaged in their treatment and feel supported throughout the process. 

• Provide peer counseling and support, drawing on common experiences as a peer, to validate clients’ experiences and to provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery with a focus on substance use.
• Provide expertise and consultation from a mental health/substance use consumer perspective to the entire team concerning clients’ experiences on symptoms of mental illness, the effects and side-effects of medications, clients’ responses to and opinions of treatment and clients’ experiences of recovery.
• Collaborate with the team to promote a team culture in which each clients’ point of view, experiences, and preferences are recognized, understood, and respected, and in which client self-determination and decision-making in treatment planning are maximized and supported.
• Help clients identify, understand, and combat stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and develop strategies to reduce self-stigma.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the protection of clients’ rights in order to help clients to improve their knowledge of client rights and grievance or complaint procedures.                        
• Increase awareness of and support client participation in consumer self-help programs and consumer advocacy organizations that promote recovery.

Required Skills

• May have related training (e.g., certified occupational therapy assistant, home health care aide) or work experience (e.g., teaching) and life experience.
• Trained or willing to be trained in Motivational Interviewing techniques.
• Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe mental illness and substance use disorder to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services.

Great entry level opportunity exists as a Mental Health Worker in our Community Crisis Stabilization Unit in Quincy.  Join our professional team to provide specialized care to consumers in a 24-hour crisis stabilization setting.  

The Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Unit, an integral part of the Aspire Health Alliance's Emergency Services team, provides a staff-secure, safe and structured crisis stabilization and treatment services in a community-based program that serves as a medically necessary, less restrictive, and voluntary alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.  The unit offers individuals access to six on-site beds during times of crisis where the length of stay is generally three to five days, but is flexible to meet individual needs.  

Responsibilities include: facilitating individual treatment planning; participating in recreational, therapeutic and coping activities; encouraging consumer health through proper diet and activities of daily living; and maintaining a secure, safe setting.

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday 11p - 7a

Hourly rate: $17/hr +$2,500 sign on bonus!

Required Skills

Great entry level opportunity exists as a Mental Health Worker in our Community Crisis Stabilization Unit in Quincy.  Join our professional team to provide specialized care to consumers in a 24-hour crisis stabilization setting.  

The Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Unit, an integral part of the Aspire Health Alliance's Emergency Services team, provides a staff-secure, safe and structured crisis stabilization and treatment services in a community-based program that serves as a medically necessary, less restrictive, and voluntary alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.  The unit offers individuals access to six on-site beds during times of crisis where the length of stay is generally three to five days, but is flexible to meet individual needs.  

Responsibilities include: facilitating individual treatment planning; participating in recreational, therapeutic and coping activities; encouraging consumer health through proper diet and activities of daily living; and maintaining a secure, safe setting.

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday 11p - 7a

Hourly rate: $17/hr +$2,500 sign on bonus!

The mission of the Peer-to-Peer Program is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can connect with others whose shared experiences help them work through various stages of crisis.  Clients can join in peer-led activities, including guided meditation, arts and crafts, and “recovery is real” group discussions.  If they prefer, they can simply relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, or watch television in a comfortable, home-like atmosphere surrounded by empathetic peers whose similar situations can be invaluable during recovery. Offering respect, understanding, and ongoing encouragement, our peers are a guiding force to renew hope and strengthen clients’ determination to stay on track with their own journeys of recovery.

Aspire Health Alliance’s peer support specialists are qualified by lived experience and trained through the Massachusetts Certified Peer Specialist Program.  Each is dedicated to connecting with clients, urging open, honest dialogue—and showing by example that recovery is possible.  Role models for the group, they also advocate for their peers, promote healing through relationship building, and provide guidance on other mental health resources if needed.

Aspire Health Alliance’s Peer-to-Peer Program provides clients with assistance during times when access to mental health services is unavailable. Located at 460 Quincy Avenue in Quincy, Peer-to-Peer is open Thursday and Friday from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and on holidays between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

This per diem opening in Aspire Health Alliance’s Emergency Services Program (ESP) provides in-home, community, and hospital ER-based services to children, teens, and adults who are at risk of harming themselves or others. Great entry level opportunity exists to become part of a dynamic, mobile crisis center!  The Triage Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Crisis Team by supporting Master’s level Clinicians in the evaluation and disposition of individuals and/or families that are in need of emergency crisis assistance.  Other responsibilities include:

Staffed by a mental health worker, the open, five-bed residential unit provides clients with stability as they connect with the resources and services needed to achieve independent living. During their stay, clients participate in structured therapeutic activities between 9:00 and 5:00, while caseworkers provide support with medication management, appointment follow up, transportation, and other daily tasks necessary to successful transition. An ICS mobile team is also available for clients in need of short-term support services within the communities where they live.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma required. Peer Specialist Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle required.

Required Experience

• Current or previous experience as a family member/caregiver of someone currently/formerly receiving mental health services (required).
• One-year experience in an acute mental health setting (preferred).
• Must demonstrate the following characteristics: flexible, team player, ability to grow and learn in the position, and ability to provide support and quality care to well-being of individuals served.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical care in the community to adults with mental health and substance use diagnoses.  Our Community Mental Health Clinicians gain comprehensive clinical experience working under experienced, independently licensed clinicians. In addition, we offer a wide variety of career growth and training opportunities within our organization.  The clinicians in our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program work with their supervisors and colleagues to develop clinical assessments, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for clients. They also lead the development of comprehensive recovery-based services, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and provide clinical leadership for an assigned group of clients. Opportunity for some hybrid work!

Celebrating 100 years of service in 2026, Aspire Health Alliance (Aspire) is a private, non-profit behavioral health agency, providing services for children, teens, and adults experiencing serious emotional challenges, behavioral issues, and substance abuse. The Substance Use Clinician develops, coordinates, and provides individual and group treatment as well as rehabilitation, and support services to program clients with substance use disorders. He/she provides clinical consultation to other clinicians as needed. The Substance Use Clinician also builds community relationships and networks to generate referrals. He/she functions as a clinical member of a multidisciplinary team.
